အိမ္ျဖဴေတာ္၏  အာရွႏွင့္ ပစိဖိတ္အေမရိကန္မ်ား အေျချပဳေကာ္မရွင္ ဦးေဆာင္သူက ေဘးဧရိယာျမန္မာမ်ားကို ေတြ႔ဆုံမည္

နက္ျဖန္ ၾသဂုတ္ ၁၈၊ ၂၀၁၁၊ ဥကၠလံျမိဳ႔၊ Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center (ODALC), 1224 Harrison Street, Oakland, CA  မွာ  အိမ္ျဖဴေတာ္အၾကံေပးေကာ္မရွင္တခုျဖစ္တဲ့ အာရွနဲ႔ ပစိဖိတ္အေမရိကန္မ်ားအေျချပဳအဖြဲ႔က ဦးေဆာင္သူ Daphne Kwok က ဆန္ဖရန္ေဘးဧရိယာေရာက္ ျမန္မာတိုင္းရင္းသားမိသားစုမ်ားရဲ့ လက္ရွိအေရးကိစၥမ်ား (အလုပ္အကိုင္၊ က်န္းမာေရး၊ ပညာေရး၊ ေနထိုင္ေရး) ကို သိရွိရင္းႏွီးမႈရရန္ ေတြ႔ဆုံေဆြးေႏြးပြဲတရပ္ က်င္းပမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ျမန္မာတိုင္းရင္းသားမ်ားအေရး စိတ္၀င္စားသူ မည္သူမဆို တက္ေရာက္ႏိုင္ၾကတယ္လို႔ ဖိတ္ေခၚခ်က္ထဲမွာ ေရးထားတာကို ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ အဆိုပါ ေတြ႔ဆုံပြဲကို ဘာကလီျမိဳ႔ေန ေမရီႏိုက္စလီက ျမန္မာမိသားစုမ်ားကို ဆက္သြယ္ျပီး ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဖိတ္စာကို ေအာက္ပါအတုိင္းေရးထားပါတယ္။ အီးေမးကေန ဖိတ္ေခၚထားပါတယ္။

Location: Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center (ODALC), 1224,  Harrison Street, Oakland, CA.

Meeting topic:  To introduce Chairperson Kwok to our Community living in the Bay Area. We are hoping through this meeting she has a better understanding of the challenges facing those individuals coming from Burma to live in the United States. These should cover employment, health, education, housing, etc. Please bring questions on services that you see lacking that may be unique to our community and how the White House can address these issues.
